Enchanted Forest Party

Enlightened's production team was delighted to be asked to provide full design, planning, installation, and production for a spectacular private event, for the owners of the stunning Fontihll estate in 2016

The event brief consisted simply of a location within the estates woodland and a theme of ‘Enchanted Forest’. Through close consultation our production team was instrumental in providing a comprehensive design proposal that unified both the technical and aesthetic elements, from how much power would need to be provided to turn the woodland canopy into a magical ceiling of shifting colour, right down to the finest details of dressing for the dining marquee which was set deep in the estates woodland

Working in close partnership with the Estate managers we created a magical woodland hall among the trees. To create the “Enchanted Forest’ we independently lit the trunks of the trees in white to elongate them whilst the canopies were lit in a changing palette of rich colour. The illuminated forest either side of the long drive created a truly spectacular and vivid entrance to the event. 
Enlightened designed and provided full lighting, audio, power and staging for what proved to be an incredible private party over a long weekend at the magnificent Fonthill Estate.

Working with the estates team when we got the call for a 2nd event our location was chosen based around the forestry work on the estate and a newly felled area of tree stumps proved a great location for a 21st party, however due to our very wet weather in 2018 we had to move the party location with 2 weeks before we started on site and moved onto hard standing but managed to bring the woodland indoors by using fresh green wood and branches cut from the ongoing works in the surrounding woodland. With care not to spread disease or bring woodland products from other areas of the estate.
