DMX Projector Shutter

The Wahlberg DMX controlled Projector Shutter is the answer to your problems if you want to get rid of the faint black box when you have no image to project.

This neat little DMX device sits on top of your projector with a paddle out the front. As the dmx address is varied from 0 to 255, the position of the flag moves round 180 deg thus blocking out the light spill completly.

The shutter is programmed as a conventional lamp, an added to the cuelist.

The shutter is mounted in front of the projector lens, so the flap can turn in front of the lens, and block the light from the projector. The flap is mounted on a motor, and this motor is controlled by a DMX signal from a light desk, and can be programmed as a normal light fixture and added to the cuelist or similar.
The motor part weighs only 300 gram (10.5 ounces), and is thereby easily mounted.
