Insurance for Hire Equipment
From when equipment is taken away from Enlightened until it is return (or delivered and collected) the responsibility for the equipment becomes that of the hirer. Therefore we strongly recommend that you have insurance to cover the full replacement value, of all the equipment. Some wedding insurance policies cover hire equipment, some school and business have insurance to cover hire equipment. You must check that this is valid and covers the equipment.
Enlightened Lighting can extend its insurance policy to cover the equipment whilst under your responsibility. For approximately 10% of the hire cost, Enlightened can offer insurance with an excess of £250.
The policy covers: "Accidental loss of or damage to equipment arising from any cause not excluded by the policy."
