Enlightened Lighting in collaboration with Bath Spa University will once again be transforming the sky line of Bath for the Jubilee weekend this summer.

In collaboration with Bath Spa University following the success of their Illuminate Bath 2012, Enlightened Lighting has been commissioned by Bath & North East Somerset Council Department of Tourism & Leisure to provide stunning lighting and visual effects on many of Bath's key historic buildings over the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend.

Orange Grove, the Guild Hall, Pump Rooms and Bath Abbey Churchyard will also enjoy innovative lighting and projections to produce a sense of wonder and celebration.

This lighting extravaganza in celebration of the Queens Jubilee also coincides with the start of the Bath International Music Festival and the night of free music and events running across Bath as part of the “Party in the City”. The lighting and visual effects will be running for five evenings over the long bank holiday weekend from the 1st to the 5th of June 2012.

Simon Marcus of Enlightened Lighting commented;

"It's rare to have the opportunity to illuminate such beautiful architecture with no other purpose than to produce a sense of wonder. The collaboration with Bath Spa University is going to result in effects never before seen on the buildings of Bath. It really will be a weekend to remember. "

Keep an eye out and do send us your favourite photos from the weekend.
